The University Hospital of Ophthalmology at Inselspital has a long tradition of excellence in ophthalmology. Founded in 1834, it is now one of the leading centers for ophthalmology with state-of-the-art diagnostics, therapy and microsurgery of eye diseases and ophthalmologic emergencies.
